Understanding the Astral Plane and Astral Travel
Astral projection (or astral travel) is a spiritual interpretation of the out of body experience. Astral Projection is a very common occurrence. Five to ten percent of the world’s population has experienced a conscious out of body experience at least once. How would you know if it has happened to you?
Astral
Travel or Projection, are terms used to describe the ‘out of body
experience’. The existence of the Astral Plane and the Astral body is
recorded in texts and esoteric material pre-dating cultures as ancient
as the Phoenician, Chaldean and Sumerian.
Historically,
in both the East and West, the existence of the astral body or the
subtle body has long been acknowledged, and on the basis of that
recognition, profound esoteric healing techniques and modalities were
developed. These healing practices remain widely used to this present
day with great efficacy. Think energy Healers, Reiki Master’s, Distance
Healing and any number of practitioners specifically working with the
energetic body.
Classically,
the Astral Body is described as an intermediate body of light linking
the rational soul to the physical body, while the astral plane is an
intermediate world of light between Heaven and Earth. Astral projection
or travel signifies the astral body leaving the physical to travel the
astral plane.
It’s
interesting to note that widespread accounts of ‘Astral Travel’ are
documented in religious texts worldwide. Commonly the texts describe the
experience of ‘spiritual/astral travel’ as the ‘soul’s journey or
‘ascent’ into the higher realms.
For
many of those who practice conscious Astral Projection, the experience,
from the first instance, validates and reinforces the understanding
that life after the death of the physical body — is a reality. All
describe the experience of finding themselves outside their physical
bodies, totally aware and present, able to see, hear, touch, smell and
taste. Given that this is how all people who’ve experienced a
spontaneous OBE or a conscious astral projection describe the world
encountered in the Astral, it is impossible to dismiss the premise that
life in the physical is just a moment’s journey away from our source of
origin — our spiritual home.
Today,
most of us are comfortable with the notion that we are energetic beings
functioning within an infinite universe of energy and matter. But to
keep it simple — we astral travel in our sleep. When we dream, we are
unconsciously engaging in astral projection. In so much that when you
are sleeping your soul leaves your body.
There
is a physical ‘button’ or switch’ if you will, that is activated when
you are deep in meditation, sleeping or engaged in conscious Astral
projection or travel. The switch, located deep in our brains, is known
as the pineal gland and it releases a chemical known as DMT
(Dimethyltryptamine). This chemical is what impels your soul from your
body when sleeping, triggers the near death experience and activates the
passage of the soul when the body is dying.
In
reality few of us have any control over what the soul does when we are
sleeping, in fact it is understood that when sleeping it is our
subconscious in control.
The
difference between unconscious astral travel when asleep and dreaming;
and practiced astral projection, is that with conscious astral
projection you are able to control where your subtle body or soul
travels in the first place. It is often described as ‘conscious or aware
sleep’.
The
benefits of practicing conscious astral traveling and out of body
investigation are immeasurable as it spreads beyond the boundaries of
the physical and rational. A great many people experience a profound
shift and an inner blooming of their spiritual being, their perspective
of themselves as spiritual and physical beings undergoes a
transformation.
They
experience life with greater consciousness and vitality, certain in the
knowledge that they are more than just a physical being destined to
lead a short, physical only, finite life.
Many
state the experience of connecting with a vast, universal energy — to
the source itself. A transformation of understanding occurs, seemingly
impenetrable fears, limitations of belief, cultural and religious
impositions are shattered, leaving them with expansion and depth of
personal inner freedom not previously encountered.
The

In a certain event at CEAEC - Center for Higher Studies of Conscientiology,
Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil - I entered the laboratory of projection of
consciousness, prepared everything, sat in the armchair and began to do basic energy mobilization exercise (an exercise I learned from the first courses of IIPC - International Institute of Projectiology and Conscientiology). But as I began to feel an uneasiness incompatible with the practice, I decided to interrupt it to make notes related to it.
I got up from the chair and went to the table. I tried to pick up the sheet of paper with my hand several times, but I could not. My hand went through paper without even moving it as little as possible. Then I thought, I am out of my body as lucidly as I have never been before. It was unbelievable !!!
Perplex, I turned to look at the armchair and there was my inert body.
After the fright, I was excited and I floated to the top of one of the walls.
I got up from the chair and went to the table. I tried to pick up the sheet of paper with my hand several times, but I could not. My hand went through paper without even moving it as little as possible. Then I thought, I am out of my body as lucidly as I have never been before. It was unbelievable !!!

um determinado evento no CEAEC - Centro de Altos Estudos da
Conscienciologia, Foz do Iguaçu, Brasil - entrei no laboratório da
projeção da consciência, preparei tudo,sentei-me na poltrona e comecei a
fazer o exercício de mobilização básica de energia (exercício esse que
aprendi com os primeiros cursos do IIPC - Instituto Internacional de
Projeciologia e Conscienciologia). Porém, como passei a sentir um
desassossego incompatível com a prática, resolvi interrompe-la para
fazer anotações relacionadas a isso.
Levantei-me
da poltrona e fui em direção à mesa. Levei a mão à folha de papel mas
não consegui apanha-lo. Tentei pega-lo diversas vezes mas a minha mão
passava através dele sem ao menos move-lo o mínimo que fosse. Então
pensei: Estou fora do meu corpo tão lucidamente como jamais estive. Era
inacreditável!!!
Perplexa, virei-me para olhar a poltrona e lá estava meu corpo inerte.
Passado o "susto", fiquei entusiasmada e volitei até a parte mais alta de uma das paredes.
Lá no alto, passei a tentar atravessar a parede, primeiro com as mãos.
Com
um pouco de insistência senti o braço como se sugado pela parede e, de
pronto, eu já estava do lado de fora do campus do CEAEC.
O campus estava impressionantemente límpido.

minha surpresa, lá estava a minha espera uma colega adolescente do
curso de Nutrição e Dietética (eu era aluna desse curso na época).
Ela chorava muito e dizia que as coisas estavam muito ruins em sua casa.
Tentei
ampara-la e saber o que , exatamente, se passava em sua casa. Ela
apenas chorava e dizia não saber ao certo qual era o problema. Então eu
disse a ela que voltasse pra casa e que assim que estivéssemos na ETE
(Escola Técnica Estadual de São Paulo) conversaríamos.
Depois disso lembro-me de ter volitado direto ao laboratório sem refazer o percurso. Algo como: "pensei, voltei".
Finalizado o evento, retornei para São Paulo.
Já na ETE, entrei na sala vazia e sentei-me na cadeira de sempre.
Poucos alunos iam chegando e a colega mencionada entrou e sentou-se ao meu lado.
Perguntei-lhe
se estava tudo bem e ela me respondeu que sim. Insisti na pergunta
indagando se em sua casa estava tudo em ordem. Ela respondeu que sim.
Ela
estava sorridente e tranquila. Eu tentei não me auto sugestionar com
expectativas de sucesso do meu experimento e focar no desejo de que
acontecesse o que fosse melhor para todos, como aprendi com Waldo Vieira
que esse é o melhor e mais sensato desejo que podemos ter.
Passados
alguns dias, sentada na mesma cadeira, fui subitamente surpreendida
com a entrada dela exatamente como se apresentou a mim no CEAEC, só que
chorava mais discretamente do que durante a minha projeção consciente ou
OOBE(out-of-the-body- experience).
Para
meu "espanto" ela disse-me a mesmíssima coisa que disse na recepção do
CEAEC e eu apenas lhe dei carinho e atenção já que ela sequer sabia
dizer o que estava acontecendo, apenas presumia , pelo que aparentava a
conduta de seus pais, que as coisas não iam nada bem entre eles. Ela
temia pela separação deles.
Fiquei
perplexa com essa ocorrência. Era a constatação de que minha colega de
classe e eu realmente nos encontramos na dimensão extrafísica durante o
meu experimento de laboratório do CEAEC.
Eu mal acreditava que aquilo acabara de acontecer e isso me atordoou por alguns dias.
Entretanto,
como sempre digo, ninguém precisa acreditar em nada disso. A única
coisa que posso dizer é que apenas a pessoa e suas experiências podem

Interview with Waldo Vieira
Projectiology - A Neoscience born in Brazil Waldo Vieira is a physician, researcher and veteran of the so-called EXPERIENCES OUTSIDE THE BODY. He directs the most important world center of studies on ASTRAL PROJECTION, the INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PROJECIOLOGY of Rio de Janeiro. Member of SOCIETY FOR PSYCHICAL RESEARCH in London, and of AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR PSYCHICAL RESEARCH in New York, among others, Waldo summed up everything that is known about the subject in a volume with more than 900 pages. The book "PROJECIOLOGY" is now spread all over the world. Two of these specimens are found in the Brazilian scientific research station in Antarctica. Some researchers based there seek relief from the loneliness of the long days and nights of the South Pole visiting their families through astral journeys.
Waldo, what does Projectiology study?
The conscious projection and its related phenomena. Projection is an extracorporeal experience that we also call lucid unfolding, astral travel, astral projection, O.O.B.E (out-of-the-body experience). But the thing is not restricted to the experience itself. Projectiology aims at deep self-knowledge. It prevents religious mysticism, fanaticism, ignorance or any kind of superstition from taking away individual freedom from manifestation. No brainwashing or any kind of sacralization. The fanatic is interfering, radical and almost always disrespectful. Free from these conditions the person grows as a human being and realizes that he must respect others.
Does it mean that projectiology is against indoctrination?
We respect all doctrines, but the main concept of our study is: "Do not believe anyone and nothing. Try it". It sounds like a materialistic statement, but it is not. On the contrary, it is spiritualistic, because we are exalting consciousness. One must experience experience directly and on their own. Through her experience, unique and personalized, she will overcome the obstacle of incitement, that is, ignorance about herself.
Apparently this pushes away Projectiology from what is generally understood by scientific research.
We are just not attached to the mechanism of the Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm, which is materialistic and physicalistic. This does not necessarily mean the denial of Science. On the contrary, we need it. In fact, of all lines of human thought, it is the least worst. Science is not yet ideal because it has not respected ethics as much as one might expect. What is astral projection?Man is composed of several overlapping layers of energy called "bodies." The physical body is the layer perceived by the physical senses, which does not prevent the detection of the others through several processes. The seat of individuality, of intelligence, is found in the physical body when all other layers are in coincidence, that is, when the person is awake. With sleep, it is as if the body connects the "autopilot" of the autonomous functions, and the thirst of the self, along with the other layers, leaves the physical body. The normal functions of the individual are inhibited by sleep and everything happens as if nothing had happened. What can happen is that the person suddenly finds himself floating around the room like a balloon or observing his own sleeping body. This phenomenon almost always occurs spontaneously and whoever experiences it often refrains from commenting on it, for fear of the reaction of others. Astral projection is very common in adolescence. When the young man tells his parents that he has a projection, they usually try to reassure the child by trying to convince him that it was all a dream. In some cases, seek a doctor immediately. In general terms, what should one do to experience an astral Projection?

The elementary instructions given in our course are simple. At first, one must accept the fact that its limit is not restricted to the physical body. The most common is to lie on your stomach using light clothing and without blankets. Then tilt your head slightly to the side to avoid the open mouth during projection. This prevents the throat from drying out. Attention should be focused on all parts of the body, making sure they are free of tension. It is not very easy, but with constant exercise one can quickly get relaxation. This process should begin from the feet to the scalp. Muscles should be relaxed individually. Then count from 50 to 1. It is necessary to keep the breath paced, trying to empty the mind and focus exclusively on the numbers. It is also essential that there is no guilty feeling that you do not know yourself deeply. This happens only because you have been programmed since you were born to live imprisoned in your own body.
Another basic question is whether we are awake or asleep. This remark may seem foolish, but under certain circumstances the thing is not very easy. Being able to distinguish whether we are awake or asleep, a great step has already been taken. We recommend that the person repeat, for a month, at least 20 times a day, the following question: "Am I sleeping or am I awake?". Then answer, "I'm awake." This question should be asked every time you change your environment. Through it reasoning had accustomed his mind to becoming aware of the waking state permanently. Usually, in the third week of this exercise you will have the surprise of asking yourself "am I awake or asleep?" And respond "my body is asleep but I am still awake". You will be out of body and would not have realized it before. When this happens, one should control feelings of fear or euphoria. There is, under no circumstances, danger of injury to your body during an outing. No spiritual force can take possession of your body in its absence. What can happen is a phenomenon common to the first experiences: the temporary disinterest for physical life and its daily difficulties. But this, when it occurs, is fleeting. Soon the person learns to give due value to the miracle of life and the prestigious opportunity to occupy this fantastic machine that is the human body.
After all, how did it all start?
At age 9, I had a conscious projection, proven by the family and people attached to it. My brother was very sick, already disillusioned by the doctors. It was proved that I had left my body, gone to the next room and seen, not only what they were doing with my brother, but also what would happen to him. From then on, many other similar events were happening, more and more frequent. Over time, I began to dominate the process. At that time, I had an essentially Spiritist view of the phenomenon. I edited, along with Chico Xavier, several psychographical books that helped spread spiritism throughout the country and abroad.

At this point, I started traveling all over Brazil, always researching and exchanging ideas. I began to see the astral projection as a physiological phenomenon, as well as eating or breathing. Can we evolve to that level?

It should have the obligation to study any kind of phenomenon involved in this process, but it has no instrumentality to do so. We had to choose to follow science anyway or look for another form of procedure. So we decided to take the scientific path. Waldo, what does Projectiology study?
The conscious projection and its related phenomena. Projection is an extracorporeal experience that we also call lucid unfolding, astral travel, astral projection, O.O.B.E (out-of-the-body experience). But the thing is not restricted to the experience itself. Projectiology aims at deep self-knowledge. It prevents religious mysticism, fanaticism, ignorance or any kind of superstition from taking away individual freedom from manifestation. No brainwashing or any kind of sacralization. The fanatic is interfering, radical and almost always disrespectful. Free from these conditions the person grows as a human being and realizes that he must respect others.
Does it mean that projectiology is against indoctrination?
We respect all doctrines, but the main concept of our study is: "Do not believe anyone and nothing. Try it". It sounds like a materialistic statement, but it is not. On the contrary, it is spiritualistic, because we are exalting consciousness. One must experience experience directly and on their own. Through her experience, unique and personalized, she will overcome the obstacle of incitement, that is, ignorance about herself.
Apparently this pushes away Projectiology from what is generally understood by scientific research.
We are just not attached to the mechanism of the Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm, which is materialistic and physicalistic. This does not necessarily mean the denial of Science. Another basic question is whether we are awake or asleep. This remark may seem foolish, but under certain circumstances the thing is not very easy. Being able to distinguish whether we are awake or asleep, a great step has already been taken. We recommend that the person repeat, for a month, at least 20 times a day, the following question: "Am I sleeping or am I awake?". Then answer, "I'm awake." This question should be asked every time you change your environment. Through it reasoning had accustomed his mind to becoming aware of the waking state permanently. Usually, in the third week of this exercise you will have the surprise of asking yourself "am I awake or asleep?" And respond "my body is asleep but I am still awake". You will be out of body and would not have realized it before. When this happens, one should control feelings of fear or euphoria. What can happen is a phenomenon common to the first experiences: the temporary disinterest for physical life and its daily difficulties. But this, when it occurs, is fleeting. After all, how did it all start?
At age 9, I had a conscious projection, proven by the family and people attached to it. My brother was very sick, already disillusioned by the doctors. It was proved that I had left my body, gone to the next room and seen, not only what they were doing with my brother, but also what would happen to him. From then on, many other similar events were happening, more and more frequent. Over time, I began to dominate the process. At that time, I had an essentially Spiritist view of the phenomenon. I edited, along with Chico Xavier, several psychographical books that helped spread spiritism throughout the country and abroad.
Was your family religious?
Was a spiritist. My training began with lessons in Christian Kardecist morality. Soon I was plunging into a very great conflict, because the exaltation of mediumship is an integral part of the Spiritist movement. And I would tell everyone: "Look, it's good that instead of mediumship, you get into the unfolding." Get out of the body and go there, see the thing directly. If we can eliminate the middleman, why become dependent on an entity manifested by a medium? I had had retrocognitions since I was a boy, a memory of past incarnations, with a lot of lucidity. That is where he concludes: I am repeating what I have already done. The context was the same, but the setting and the language were different. When I got to that level, I thought, other people must be going through this. And I started looking for them. I talked to a lot of people and since I was 17 I started to write in a notebook, data about astral projection. My family had few resources. While studying, I began to work with Mário Palmério, who is nowadays a renowned writer. I took a course in Dentistry and after Medicine. Waldo, o que a Projeciologia estuda?
A projeção
consciente e seus fenômenos correlatos. A projeção é uma experiência
extracorpórea que também chamamos desdobramento lúcido, viagem astral,
projeção astral, O.O.B.E (out-of-the-body experience). Mas a coisa não
se restringe à experiência em si. A Projeciologia visa o
autoconhecimento profundo. Ele evita que o misticismo religioso, o
fanatismo, a ignorância ou que qualquer tipo de superstição nos tire a
liberdade individual de manifestação. Nada de lavagens cerebrais ou
quaisquer tipos de sacralização. O fanático é interferente, radical e
quase sempre desrespeitoso. Livre desses condicionamentos a pessoa
cresce como ser humano e percebe que deve respeitar os outros.
Quer dizer que a Projeciologia é contra a doutrinação?
Nós
respeitamos todas as doutrinas, mas o conceito principal do nosso estudo
é: “Não acredite em ninguém e em nada. Experimente”. Parece uma
afirmação materialista, ma não é. Pelo contrário, é espiritualista,
porque nós estamos exaltando a consciência. A pessoa deve viver a
experiência direta e por conta própria. Através de sua vivência, única e
personalizada, ela vai superar o obstáculo da inciência, ou seja, a
ignorância a respeito de si mesma.
Aparentemente isso afasta a Projeciologia do que, em geral, se entende por pesquisa científica.
Nós apenas
não estamos presos ao mecanismo do paradigma newtoniano-cartesiano, que é
materialista e fisicalista. Isto não significa, necessariamente, a
negação da Ciência. Pelo contrário, nós precisamos dela. Aliás, de todas
as linhas do pensamento humano, ela é a menos pior. A Ciência só não é
ainda ideal porque não tem respeitado a ética tanto quanto se poderia
esperar. Veja os problemas que o mundo enfrenta no momento,
principalmente na área da ecologia.
Mas isso é causado pela Ciência ou pelo uso inadequado dela?
A
administração também é uma ciência. É por aí, geralmente, que nos
afastamos da ética. É necessário que tenhamos autocrítica para
conquistarmos a liberdade de determinar a trajetória da sociedade.
O que é projeção astral?
O homem se
compõe de várias camadas superpostas de energia chamadas “corpos”. O
corpo físico é a camada percebida pelos sentidos físicos, o que não
impede a detecção das demais através de vários processos. A sede da
individualidade, da inteligência, encontra-se no corpo físico quando
todas as demais camadas estão em coincidência, isto é, quando a pessoa
está acordada. Com o sono, é como se o corpo ligasse o “piloto
automático” das funções autônomas, e a sede do eu, juntamente com as
outras camadas, sai do corpo físico. As funções normais do indivíduo
estão inibidas pelo sono e tudo se passa como se nada tivesse
acontecido. O que pode ocorrer é que a pessoa, de repente, se ache
“boiando” pelo quarto, como um balão, ou observando o seu próprio corpo
adormecido. Quase sempre esse fenômeno ocorre espontaneamente e quem o
experimenta, muitas vezes evita comentá-lo, com medo da reação dos
outros. A projeção astral é muito comum na adolescência. Quando o jovem
conta aos pais que fez uma projeção, geralmente eles tentam tranqüilizar
o filho procurando convencê-lo de que tudo não passou de um sonho. Em
certos casos, procuram imediatamente um médico. Atualmente, com a maior
divulgação dos estudos sobre esse tipo de fenômeno, ficou mais fácil
falar do assunto sem correr o risco de ser internado numa clínica.
Em linhas gerais, o que se deve fazer para experimentar uma Projeção astral?
Não se deve
tentar sem conhecimento ou assistência competente. Mas não é tão difícil
de ser conseguida quanto parece. Todos nós realizamos a projeção astral
involuntariamente a noite durante o sono. As instruções elementares,
ministradas em nosso curso, são simples. De início, é preciso aceitar o
fato de que o seu limite não se restringe ao corpo físico. A força
inibidora mais poderosa está justamente nesta falsa noção. É preciso
também aprender a relaxar. Há vários métodos para isso. O mais comum
consiste em deitar-se de barriga para cima usando roupas leves e sem
cobertores. Em seguida inclinar levemente a cabeça para o lado, para
evitar a boca aberta durante a projeção. Isto impede que a garganta
fique ressequida. Deve-se concentrar a atenção em todas as partes do
corpo, verificando se elas estão livres de tensão. Não é muito fácil,
mas com exercício constante se pode obter rapidamente o relaxamento.
Este processo deve principiar a partir dos pés, até o couro cabeludo. Os
músculos devem ser relaxados individualmente. Em seguida, conte de 50
até 1. É necessário manter a respiração compassada, procurando esvaziar a
mente e concentrar-se exclusivamente nos números. É fundamental também
que não exista qualquer sentimento de culpa por não conhecer
profundamente a si mesmo. Isto acontece apenas porque você foi
programado desde que nasceu para viver encarcerado em seu próprio corpo.
Outra
questão básica é saber quando estamos acordados ou dormindo. Pode
parecer tola esta observação, mas, em certas circunstâncias, a coisa não
é muito fácil. Conseguindo distinguir se estamos acordados ou dormindo,
um grande passo já foi dado. Recomendamos então, que a pessoa repita,
durante um mês, pelo menos umas 20 vezes ao dia, a seguinte pergunta:
“Eu estou dormindo ou estou acordado?”. Depois, responda: “Eu estou
acordado”. Esta pergunta deve ser feita cada vez que você mudar de
ambiente. Através dela o raciocínio acostumara sua mente a se
conscientizar permanentemente do estado de vigília. Em geral, na
terceira semana deste exercício você terá a surpresa de se perguntar
“estou acordado ou dormindo?”, e responder “meu corpo está dormindo mas
eu continuo acordado”. Você estará fora do corpo e não teria percebido
isso antes. Quando isto acontece, deve-se controlar os sentimentos de
medo ou euforia. Não há, em hipótese alguma, perigo de prejuízo para o
seu corpo durante uma saída. Nenhuma força de ordem espiritual pode
tomar posse do seu corpo em sua ausência. O que pode acontecer é um
fenômeno comum às primeiras experiências: o desinteresse temporário pela
vida física e suas dificuldades cotidianas. Mas isso, quando ocorre, é
passageiro. Logo a pessoa aprende a dar o devido valor ao milagre da
vida e à prestigiosa oportunidade de ocupar essa maquina fantástica que é
o corpo humano.
Afinal, como foi que tudo começou?
Aos 9 anos,
eu tive uma projeção consciente, comprovada pela família e pessoas
ligadas a ela. Meu irmão estava muito doente, já desenganado pelos
médicos. Ficou provado que eu tinha saído do meu corpo, ido até o quarto
ao lado e visto, não só o que estavam fazendo com meu irmão, como
também o que iria acontecer com ele. Dai em diante, muitos outros fatos
semelhantes foram acontecendo, cada vez mais freqüentes. Com o passar do
tempo, comecei a dominar o processo. Nessa época, eu tinha uma visão
essencialmente espírita do fenômeno. Editei, juntamente com Chico
Xavier, vários livros psicografádos que ajudaram a divulgar o
espiritismo por todo o País e o exterior.
Sua família era religiosa?
Era
espírita. Minha formação começou com aulas de moral cristã kardecista.
Logo fui mergulhando num conflito muito grande, porque a exaltação da
mediunidade é parte integrante do movimento espírita. E eu falava pra
todo mundo: “Olha, é bom que, ao invés de mediunidade, vocês entrem no
desdobramento”. Sair do corpo e ir lá, ver a coisa diretamente. Se
podemos eliminar o intermediário, por que ficar dependente de uma
entidade que se manifesta por um médium? Eu já tinha retrocognicões
desde menino, recordação de encarnações passadas, com muita lucidez. Foi
aí que conclui: estou repetindo o que já fiz. O contexto era o mesmo,
mas o cenário e a linguagem eram diferentes. Quando cheguei a esse
nível, pensei: outras pessoas devem estar passando por isto. E comecei a
procurá-las. Conversava com muita gente e desde os 17 anos passei a
anotar num caderno, dados sobre projeção astral. Minha família tinha
poucos recursos. Sai de casa aos 12 e nunca mais voltei porque pretendia
pagar os meus estudos e os dos meus irmãos. Fui para Uberaba. Enquanto
estudava, comecei a trabalhar com Mário Palmério, que hoje é um escritor
de renome. Fiz curso de Odontologia e depois de Medicina. A partir dos
conhecimentos adquiridos, tive condições de desenvolver um estudo mais
consciente dos fenômenos chamados paranormais. A essas alturas, comecei a
viajar por todo o Brasil, sempre pesquisando e trocando idéias. Passei a
ver a projeção astral como um fenômeno fisiológico, assim como comer ou
respirar. Decidi me dedicar ao seu estudo específico aos 34 anos, em
1966. Larguei tudo para dedicar-me em tempo integral à projeção.
Publiquei trabalhos e passei a fazer parte das sociedades internacionais
de parapsicologia da Europa, Estados Unidos e América Latina.
Qualquer pessoa pode ser capaz de realizar uma projeção astral?
Sem dúvida. É uma conquista inarredável. Qualquer pessoa é um “projetor”.
Há alguma pesquisa que comprove isso?
Segundo as
estatísticas internacionais, 89% das pessoas têm projeções
inconscientes, pois quase todo mundo sai do corpo enquanto dorme. Restam
11%. Destes, 9,8% têm as chamadas projeções semiconscientes, ou o
“sonho lúcido”. É quando o sujeito sabe que está sonhando e chega mesmo a
imprimir alguma intenção ao sonho para modificá-lo. Ele está fora do
microuniverso consciencial localizado no corpo humano. Somente 1,2% da
população mundial consegue efetuar projeções totalmente lúcidas, ou
seja, são projetores conscientes. É o caso da maior parte das pessoas
que trabalham aqui no Instituto.
Como são comprovadas as projeções?
Uma pessoa
faz uma projeção e sua consciência vai, por exemplo, até uma outra
cidade, onde alguém conhecido está realizando alguma tarefa.
Telefonamos, então, para essa pessoa e confirmamos se na hora tal ela
estava fazendo o que foi percebido pelo projetor, se estava usando uma
roupa assim-assado, etc. Às vezes, durante as projeções, a visão é
impressionantemente detalhada. Isso é sempre estarrecedor para quem tem
pouca experiência. Trata-se de um fenômeno que convence por si mesmo.
Quais os principais objetivos da projeção?
Ela não é
nenhuma panacéia, mas as suas possibilidades podem ser vislumbradas: o
autoconhecimento em sua totalidade, a possibilidade de viajar no tempo e
no espaço sem barreiras, o acesso às diversas dimensões da realidade, o
contato com entidades de todos os níveis de esclarecimento, a
capacidade crescente de doação de energia para os necessitados… Muita
coisa que aponta para um universalismo abrangente e iluminado.
A projeção astral poderia ser utilizada por pessoas de interesses duvidosos?
O
imediatismo do nosso mundo doentio poderia desviar o sentido da
pesquisa. Por exemplo, penetrar em locais estratégicos em busca de
segredos militares ou industriais, espionar a vida alheia, procurar
meios que permitam o enriquecimento rápido, como descobrir informações
confidenciais no mundo dos negócios, da bolsa de valores, etc.
Felizmente, as saídas do corpo são monitoradas por espíritos iluminados.
Eles nos ajudam a compreender a transitoriedade das coisas terrenas.
Alguns desses seres que executam essa tarefa são os “serenões”.
O que é um serenão?
Ao longo das
minhas “viagens”, estive nos lugares mais surpreendentes, como outros
planetas e outras dimensões. Acabei tendo contato com toda sorte de
entidades. Algumas, ainda mergulhadas na ignorância, parecem foragidas
de filmes de ficção científica. São normalmente doentias e traumatizadas
por experiências violentas vividas na vida física. Por outro lado, tive
a oportunidade de entrar em contato com seres desenvolvidíssimos,
tranqüilos e despojados de dogmas religiosos, identidades nacionalistas,
doutrinações, etc. Escolhi o nome de serenão para designá-los por causa
de sua aparência de beatitude dinâmica. Os serenões existem desde o
aparecimento da humanidade na terra. Assim como os homens, eles vieram,
em levas espirituais sucessivas, de vários recantos do universo. Estão
completando o círculo reencarnatório e desenvolveram uma cosmo-ética
aperfeiçoada, baseada principalmente no amor universal, na ajuda
impessoal ao próximo. Honrarias e paixões já não têm sentido em seu
plano vibratório. Os serenões são absolutamente anônimos e não buscam
recompensa para os seus atos.
Podemos evoluir até esse nível?
Sim, eu
poderia resumir a nossa evolução em 4 níveis. Primeiro o nível medíocre:
consciência sonambulizada, presa à roda comum das encarnações
compulsórias sucessivas. Segundo, o amparador: aquele que,
conscientemente, num constante trabalho, assiste aos seres encarnados e
as entidades desencarnadas. Terceiro, o pré-serenão: quem já vive as
suas últimas encarnações mas ignora as demais. Quarto, o serenão: aquele
que vive suas derradeiras encarnações plenamente consciente deste fato.
Após essas fases, o espírito estará puro, isto é, livre da ciranda
encarnatória.
A projeção é uma experiência recente?
Não. Havia
gente saindo do corpo há muito mais de dois milênios, como está
registrado na Bíblia. Também há registros de que a projeção tem
acontecido freqüentemente durante as experiências de quase-morte.
O que é a quase-morte?
Fála-se
muito, hoje em dia, das experiências de quase-morte, quando o moribundo
acaba tendo uma saída do corpo com intensidade espantosa. Depois disto o
doente geralmente se restabelece e, a partir dai, nunca mais será o
mesmo. A maioria passa a desenvolver poderes psíquicos paranormais que
até então nunca se haviam manifestado. Há uma publicação internacional
especializada neste assunto e que circula há sete anos. Mas a
quase-morte é apenas uma das 52 manifestações da projeção astral.
Essa experiência tem limites?
A
consciência tem como conquista evolutiva mais preciosa o nível de sua
lucidez. A Projeciologia visa a lucidez em qualquer estado consciencial
em que estivermos nos manifestando, dormindo ou acordados. O ideal é
estar consciente 24 horas por dia.
Por que nem todos os médiuns buscam desenvolvimento através da Projeciologia?
Provavelmente
tratasse de um problema de egrégora. As pessoas, em geral, seguem uma
tradição e não conseguem sair com facilidade dela. Isso coagula o
pensamento, tornando-o neófobo.
Não seria aquela coisa de que o homem agride o que não conhece?
Exatamente. É
neofobia, o medo do novo. Hoje, no entanto, a psicologia já admite
tudo. Kune, o grande cientista da revolução do paradigma, diz que, para
haver mudança de modelo em certas áreas do conhecimento, e necessário
que pelo menos uma geração desapareça, porque as pessoas estão presas ao
processo de idéia fixa. Em Projeciologia chamamos isso de monoideísmo.
Até que ponto a Projeciologia desafia a tradicional pesquisa cientifica?
O que
fazemos aqui e utilizar a consciência como instrumento. Não estamos
preocupados em que a ciência convencional saia do dilema no qual entrou.
Comprovadamente, nós saímos do corpo humano e vemos que, em outra
dimensão, podemos dispor de muitos outros veículos de manifestação. Só
que nosso instrumento não é material, é consciencial. Não é possível
“medir” o fenômeno da projeção em termos científicos.
De que argumentos se serve a Projeciologia para se proclamar uma neociência?
É como o ovo
de Colombo. Não dispondo de instrumentos para analisar a consciência,
utilizamos a própria consciência como instrumento. A ciência
convencional não admite que você faça a a experiência em você mesmo, ou
seja, a introversão. Aqui no Instituto, cada um escuta a própria
consciência, raciocina, aprende com ela, e troca esse conhecimento com
outros. Aí se chega a um consenso, como uma solução holística para o
dilema mente versus matéria. A Projeciologia permite superar a divisão
entre cérebro e consciência.
A ciência tradicional demonstra alguma dificuldade de aceitar a Projeciologia?
Isso não é
exatamente uma preocupação nossa. Há muito tempo a ciência deixou de
estudar o fenômeno da consciência. Ela deveria ter a obrigação de
estudar qualquer tipo de fenômeno envolvido nesse processo, mas não tem
instrumentalidade para tanto. Tínhamos de optar por seguir a ciência
assim mesmo ou buscar outra forma de procedimento. Então resolvemos
adotar o caminho cientifico. Nossa maior afinidade com a ciência é que,
apesar de todos os seus senões, ela exige refutação. Vocês podem ver o

Namastê é uma saudação principalmente hinduísta que significa, entre algumas outras definições, a divindade que habita em mim saúda a divindade que habita em você, mas nesse caso entendam como: "ANAMASTE" - estou acrescentando o A à frente de Namastê como representação de Amparador, assim, estou entendendo que meu amparador está me pedindo para adotar essa nova saudação, então:

O Autodidatismo é muito sério, muito importante...e estudar por conta própria, com discernimento a respeito de literatura de alto nível(assuntos pró-evolutivos) expande a consciência muito mais do que estudar em qualquer instituição educacional, não importa quão altamente considerada esta instituição seja. Waldo foi o maior autodidata do seu tempo e de todos os tempos, na minha opinião. Também, na minha opinião: Ele foi o melhor em tudo!

Para mim significa que o homem não deve se comportar egoisticamente, deve se relacionar com os outros, pois depende deles para viver. Qualquer outro homem que morre, ele morre um pouco, pois depende dele para continuar vivendo. Por isso não deve perguntar por quem os sinos dobram anunciando uma morte, porque também está na realidade anunciando a dele própria.
É lindo isso. Também me arrepia.
Ernest Hemingway usou essa frase "Por Quem os Sinos Dobram" para escrever um livro que virou um lindo filme com Gary Cooper e Ingrid Bergman, que já vi inúmeras vezes.
